Unfortunately Styrofoam peanuts are an ineffective and insufficient method of cushioning your amplifier for shipment. The practice of shipping amplifiers in this manner has lead to physical damaged amplifiers and additional costs. Please consider using a more effective method of packaging your amplifier. Effective immediately, amplifiers received packaged in Styrofoam peanuts (or similar material) will have an additional $35 handling fee added to the total repair bill .The amp should be double boxed using new boxes, hard foam panels should be placed all around the amp. Amp must be wrapped in plastic sheet or heavy duty plastic bag.  Place amp on top of the hard foam sheet then insert the side sections take care not to crush the front panel of the amp you may need to cut a recess for the control knobs, meters. Use a can of blow in foam from the Hardware store (Great stuff etc.) to fill in the voids.  Place a sheet of foam sheet on the top and foam in place. Next use the foam sheet for the bottom and sides for the outer box and foam in place with the top foam sheet. Tubes MUST be removed from the amplifier and placed in their own boxes with proper packing .
